Who we are私たちについて

tokoro is a personal travel journal app, currently in closed beta for friends and testers. It is built and operated by an individual developer. Contact: vc3104@gmail.com.

What we collect収集する情報

Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive:

• Your email address
• Your display name (if provided by the identity provider)
• A unique identifier from AWS Cognito, our authentication service

Your content

Anything you save in the app:

• Places you save ("bubbles") — name, notes, coordinates, photos, tags, visit status
• Custom lists you create
• Friend connections — people you have invited, and invites you have accepted

Technical data

Collected automatically: app version, iOS version, device model — used only for debugging crashes. No identifiers that can track you across apps.

What we do not collect

• No third-party analytics (no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel).
• No advertising SDKs.
• No background location collection.
• No access to your camera roll beyond photos you explicitly pick.

How we use it利用目的

• Provide core features: saving places, syncing across devices, showing them on a map.
• Social features: letting friends you have connected with see places and lists you have shared.
• Sending invite emails — only when you initiate them.
• Debugging: crash reports (without your content) may be used to fix bugs.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.

Where it is stored保存場所

• On your device: all content is stored locally in a Realm database so the app works offline.
• In the cloud: a copy is synced to AWS in the ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo) region.
• Retention: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete the cloud copy within 30 days.

Your rightsあなたの権利

• Access — email vc3104@gmail.com to request a copy of your data.
• Deletion — email the same address to request account deletion. An in-app delete option is on the roadmap.
• Withdraw consent — sign out and revoke tokoro's access in your Google Account or Apple ID settings.

Childrenお子様について

tokoro is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app.

Changes変更について

Since this is a beta, things may change. If we make a material change to this policy, the "Last updated" date above will change and active users will be notified by email.
